Mahatma Gandhi university is a government university in Kerala where millions of students from India are successfully graduating each year.

It is a university that ranks 31^st in NIRF ranking, 15^th   in the category of Indian universities and 702^nd rank in the world university ranking. In this premier university, there are 17 departments, where doctoral, post graduate and under graduate programs are being conducted. Today no other colleges in UAE conduct MG university’s BCom Finance & Taxation.

Students get a thorough knowledge in subjects like economics, business law, corporate law, financial accounting, management accounting, cost accounting, auditing, quantitative techniques, taxation management which include GST, income tax and also banking management, entrepreneurship, marketing and human resource management. The greatest advantage of this course is that the students get an exemption of 4 papers in ACCA and also get proper basics for professional accounting courses such as CIMA, CMA, CPA, CFP, CAIA, CFA, CGMA, FMVA, FRM etc.

But in many of the foreign universities, even the basic knowledge needed for a bachelor degree is not provided. Students attend 2 or 3 contact classes in a week and submit assignments on the basis of notes from several search engines & agencies. Thus they obtain a degree without any basic knowledge. In this case, they are unable to attend a systematic, competitive exam confidently.

But our students are able to perform confidently in many of the recruitment procedures seen in today’s business environment such as basic concept, written exams, departmental interviews, group discussions and various professional correspondence exams.

Thus a BCom students after graduating can successfully join for any master’s degree especially in subjects such as finance and accounting, management, laws, arts, humanities, social science etc. anywhere in the world.

Since the students acquire in-depth knowledge in subjects, they’re also able to perform well in university exams by scoring high marks and to get opportunity to work and study in India as well as abroad. They are also eligible to attend the civil service exams like IAS, IPS, KSA and achieve success in the competitive exams conducted by government, semi government and private sector.

The classes in our college are handled by well qualified teachers. Due to their years of academic and industrial experience, the result of our college is comparatively 20 to 30% higher than that of the university results.
